The Cruisers Classic is a Para Athletics meet (track & field) held twice a year - the first weekend in May and in early Fall. The meets are focused on providing the opportunity for para athletes from across the province to compete in an AO sanctioned competition that ensures the facility and officials are equiped to support all para athletics disciplines. While focused on supporting para athletes, able-bodied competitors are welcome to compete as well.
Regular registration deadline: Tuesday, April 29th @ 11:59pm
Our meet will be held at the Toronto Track and Field Centre, located at York University (see below for map)
The Para Athletics Clinic will be held on May 2nd from 9:30am – 1:00pm. The session will be open to para athletes only and will include access to a morning training session for athletes, as well as lunch provided. A Try It event for brand new participants will be happening from 1:00pm – 4:00pm – we encourage para athletes participating in the clinic to stay for the afternoon and support new participants as a peer athlete. All participants of the para athletics clinic will be provided with lunch on this day only – there is no lunch provided on Sunday.
For more information on the clinic, please contact Lisa Myers at paraathletics@cruisers-sports.com.

The annual Cruisers Sports Para Athletics Try It event is back and bigger than ever as we celebrate Athletics Day in Canada! This year's Try It session will be held on May 2nd from 1:00pm - 4:00pm at the Toronto Track & Field Centre. This event is free, no experience is necessary, open to all ages, and all equipment will be provided. Events offered will include wheelchair racing, ambulatory running, frame running, para throws (ambulatory and seated), horizontal jumps, and multi-sport play based games for our younger participants. Key disability groups that the event is targeted towards are visual impairments and physical disabilities. While we will prioritize individuals with a disability in trying the events first, friends and family members are more than welcome to join and try as well! The Try It sessions will be facilitated by knowledgeable event coaches and athletes, including Paralympians! Try It participants who are interested in competing in a race/throw/jump event after trying it will be invited back to the Cruisers Classic meet the following day.
