February 13, 2019: AGM/Election update

Hey Cruisers Family!

In addition to the emails previously sent out, long-time Board member Americo Morais announced at tonight's Board meeting that he will be stepping down form the Board of Directors, as of the AGM on March 6th.

Americo has made a tremendous impact on the club during his tenure on the Board, and will be hard shoes to fill.

With that said, we will be accepting nominations for the position of Vice President for a ONE-YEAR term.
There will be no change on timelines around nominations, elections, or notifications. For more information, see the previous email online, www.cruisers-sports.com/news.shtml, or view the AGM page for all information on the AGM and Board elections.

February 2, 2019: Mid-winter Fundraising Drive

Hey fellow Cruisers!

Back by popular demand, I will be coordinating another ‘adult’ bottle raffle to benefit our club.

Last time this raffle raised almost $8,000!! This allowed the club to give us the branded Team Apparel we all love. The Club will use the funds raised this year to continue the program.

In order for this to be successful I need each Cruiser to kindly donate a bottle of wine or liquor to the raffle and also sell one book of ten tickets.

Bottles should be given to your sport coach or any board member before February 17th.

Tickets should be sold and money returned before February 22nd and the HUGE DRAW will take place on March 1st, 2019 at 4pm.

Let’s turn winter blahs into winter ahhs!

Any questions, please be in touch –
