It's that time again! The 2022 AGM and elections will be held on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 9th, 2022 AT 7pm DIGITALLY, at https://meet.google.com/yit-mwhd-ptq.
The AGM is your opportunity to hear what the Board of Directors has been doing on your behalf. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions, share your ideas, and provide feedback to the Board. You also have the opportunity to vote for individuals that will represent you and do the best job for the club.
There are no proposed By-Laws changes for 2022.

The following Directors are up for their normal election of two-year terms:
Descriptions of all the above positions are available online (link below as well): www.cruisers-sports.com/agm
If you would like to nominate someone for one of these roles, please email Kelly Calovini & Zoe Hahn with the Nomination form. You do not need to seek the person’s approval for nomination, as we will contact them upon your nomination. Nominations will be accepted by ‘Voting Members’ of the Cruisers. ‘Voting Members’ are defined as a member in good standing who has paid all registration fees in full as required. Coaches and Board members are also Voting Members. Voting members under the age of sixteen (16) years must appoint their voting privilege to their respective parent, guardian or recognized authority. A Non-voting member is described as parents, guardians, family members, and friends of individuals with physical disabilities along with other members of the community at large interested in the Cruisers. A non-voting member must be nominated by a voting member in good standing for a position on the Board of Directors.
All nominations must be emailed to Kelly Calovini (president@cruisers-sports.com) and Zoe Hahn (basketball@cruisers-sports.com) by February 22nd, 2022 at 11:59pm.
Nominees will be contacted, and all nominees and their respective positions will be announced by March 2nd, 2022. Nominees can only run for one position per election.
Because we will not be able to host the AGM in person, you will need to register to vote, or register your proxy on your behalf. Please take a moment and register now to vote: https://cruiserssports.wildapricot.org/event-4662850. To help protect the integrity of the voting process, you must register to vote BEFORE 11:59pm on MARCH 7th, 2022.
If you cannot attend the AGM on March 9th, 2022, you can still vote via Proxy. If you would like to vote by Proxy, please fill out the above form and select the Proxy voting option. The form link is available on the AGM webpage. You may be a proxy for up to TWO members.
This is your club, and we encourage you to share your ideas, comments, and concerns. Cruisers Sports is a member driven club, and therefore your voice is an important part of crafting the club’s future direction. We look forward to seeing you there.
Sincerely,

We are saddened to advise that due to the recent provincial restrictions on gathering limits, we have suspended all in-person sport programs immediately.
We hope this will be a short interruption and that we can get back to sport quickly. We will reach out to you as soon as this is possible.
Please stay healthy and safe and if you have any questions please connect with your team coach.
