Two of my greatest accomplishments happened before I joined the Cruisers but they are significant because they helped develop the player I am today. They are scoring my first goal at a tournament and then being named team captain a few years later at another tournament.
What do you like best about competing or playing sports?
I like getting out and letting out all of my energy just the thrill of competition and the ability to push my limits
What sport do you play and how did you decide to do this sport?
All my life I wanted to play hockey. I was a fan of the sport since childhood. A friend of mine in university introduced me to sledge hockey and I have been hooked ever since.
What are your goals for the future?
As I find that my better playing days are behind me, I would like to move into coaching. I feel that I have learned a lot and would like the opportunity to pass that knowledge on.
What else do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to be involved with public speaking I have been a member with toastmasters for 7 years.
