What do you like best about competing or playing sports?
I enjoy meeting new people as well learning how to be a better athlete.
What sport do you play and how did you decide to do this sport?
I compete in wheelchair racing, javelin, shot-put and I play wheelchair basketball. I have been encouraged to play these sports by friends.
Who are your role models and why?
My role model is Chantal Petitclerc because she is not only a great athlete but also a great person.
What are your goals for the future?
My goal is to win a gold medal at the Paralympics and to compete with Chantal in the same race.
What else do you like to do in your spare time?
I enjoy reading, painting, listening to music and spending time with my family and friends.
What advice would you have for someone just starting in the sport that you are in?
My advice is simply to listen to your coach - if you want be better (even if you sometimes don't agree with him).
What is your favorite saying?
Practice makes perfect.
