Qualified for the 100m wheelchair dash in Toronto for the nationals in 2006 and I placed sixth.

What do you like best about competing or playing sports?
I like to meet new friends. I also like to be competitive and very active.

What sport do you play and how did you decide to do this sport?
I ski during the winter and decided I would like to try an outdoor athletic sport and I live in ski country. The wheelchair racing started with track and field at school.

Who are your role models and why?
I am quite impresses with Curtis’s abilities in a race chair. I am equally impressed with Andre from the senior ski team and his outdoor skiing.

What are your goals for the future?
To become independent in everything I do.

What else do you like to do in your spare time?
I like to go bike riding and I like to watch TV.

What advice would you have for someone just starting in the sport that you are in?
Try your best and never give up. You never know what could happen.

What is your favorite saying?
I do not have a favourite saying.

What are your hobbies and interests besides sports?
My hobbies are going to car shows with my dad. My interests are skiing during the winter.
