What do you like best about competing or playing sports?
Meeting new people is always exciting, working hard to achieve a goal is always something I strive to do my best.

What sport do you play and how did you decide to do this sport?
I've played sledge hockey for the last 13 years. I always wanted a chance to play hockey, but realized at a young age I wouldn't be able to play at a normal level. I was introduced to the sport of sledge hockey from a group of friends, fell in love with the sport and haven't looked back.

Who are your role models and why?
I have many role models, so many in fact that its hard to choose. Ive always admired my grandfather. He had Multiple Sclerosis and growing up we became best friends.
My dad is also a huge role model in my life. He worked hard every day of his life to make sure his family had a roof over their head and food on the table.
My two role models that I can relate to when I play hockey are Doug Gilmour and Greg Westlake. Gilmour was small in stature but was a great leader. Greg Westlake works hard, plays smart and has a great mind for the game of Sledge Hockey.

What are your goals for the future?
I'd love to be able to play Sledge hockey at a higher level. Im commited to working hard every day of my life to make myself a better person on and off the ice.

What else do you like to do in your spare time?
I'm a computer junkie, I surf the net, I watch alot of sports, I keep up to date on all sorts of sport statistics, I work full time for Erb Transport Ltd as a customer service representive.

What advice would you have for someone just starting in the sport that you are in?
Dont get discouraged when starting out. Wayne Gretzky didn't become the greatest hockey player to ever lace them up right away, he worked hard. Enjoy yourself every minute you're on the ice. Always be proud of who you are. There is nothing in this world that should drag you down. Always Strive to be your best.

What is your favorite saying?
Git R' Done

What are your hobbies and interests besides sports?
I watch sports, I read about current events, I enjoy sleeping whenever I get a chance.

Other thoughts or comments:
We all work towards a common goal, and that's to have fun and get a little exercise. At the end of the day we should all hold our heads up high and be able to truthfully tell ourselves, "I worked my butt off to accomplish what I did today."
